Well, other browsers simply deliver more engaging visual experiences.
Not good enough? HFIN One is built to HTML specifications. This means our code is HTML compliant. Unfortunately, HTML compliant code does not always render well in Internet Explorer, so modifications to our code must be made. With such a large and dynamic platform, this takes time to support and maintain, which means elevated costs and slower product development.
So, we always ask, should we invest resources in delivering the same functionality in a less engaging browser or in making HFIN One a more powerful resource in a richer viewing environment? Since we believe browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Safari are visually superior, html compliant and free, we believe building the best product possible and making it available at the cheapest price is always the optimal path.
Will Internet Explorer be supported?
Internet Explorer has been becoming increasingly HTML compliant with each new release and we frequently consider allowing unsupported access to HFIN One on Internet Explorer 9. With 100% of the HFIN One community on supported browsers, IE support is currently not at the top of our development pipeline, unless you ask for it.
What if I must use Internet Explorer?
If you are required to use Internet Explorer only, unsupported access to HFIN One on Internet Explorer 9 might be possible for your firm. Email us at support@hfinone.com to discuss your situation.
